Sheltering in Spartanburg

In the wake of COVID-19, we believe collecting community narratives is now more important than ever. That’s why the Hub City Writers Project is returning to our roots and curating a new WPA-style blog series titled Sheltering in Spartanburg.

Sheltering in Spartanburg will spotlight how local writers, artists, service workers, community centers, educators, and small businesses are experiencing our new normal. Through a combination of interviews and guest features, we hope to archive the hopes, fears, frustrations, and celebrations of those living through COVID-19 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Sheltering in Spartanburg will feature new content every Wednesday at https://www.hubcity.org/blog. If you’re interested in writing something for this project, or participating in an interview, please contact our Outreach Manager, Leslie Sainz, at leslie@hubcity.org.

We hope you’re taking good care, and that Sheltering in Spartanburg can be a refuge for you as we work together to flatten the curve.
