About the Book Club:

NOTE: This club is open to all women 18 and older. Please note that selected titles may include mature or explicit content, in keeping with the honest, unflinching storytelling that defines much of this literary tradition.

Welcome to Zora and Audre's Sister to Sister Book Club, a community book club in collaboration with Audre's Den, a South Carolina-based nonprofit bridging literacy and healing, centering Black women’s and queer voices.

Zora & Audre's Sister Sister Book Club is a space for women to gather across generations, sharing stories that reflect the fullness of love, life, and lineage. Named in honor of Zora Neale Hurston and Audre Lorde, this club centers Black women authors whose work spans decades and experiences, from elders who paved the way to the voices shaping the genre today.

Each month, members will read and discuss a new title exploring love in its many forms: romantic, familial, communal, and self love. Conversations will move beyond the page, creating room for reflection, connection, healing, and community across generational lines.
