About the Speaker and Event

Sarah Melotte is a human geographer, applying spatial analytical skills to the world of data journalism. As a reporting fellow for the Daily Yonder, a national publication about rural America, Sarah produces data-driven stories on rural communities.

Sarah will present a talk in conjunction with Hub City Farmers Market, Spartanburg Farm Bureau, and Hub City Bookshop where she will share her observations and experiences from her fieldwork in South Carolina with women farmers.
