Support local talent and celebrate Indie Bookstore Day with Hub City Bookshop on Saturday, April 25th during Spartanburg’s Spring Fling. Pop in between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to chat with Upstate authors, and treat yourself to a new read!

Carrie Looper Stephens is a debut author from Simpsonville, SC. She recently published a YA Fantasy novel titled The Zenia Wood. Douglas E. Congdon writes from his home in Upstate South Carolina. He has degrees in law and environmental engineering and has written articles related to those fields over the years. Heat 30:1 was his first work of fiction. The sequel, Above Sea Level, is a dystopian story of revenge, survival, and love.

 

 

Millie West has written a series of books based in and around Charleston. Her stories are steeped in history and culture. She's also the author of two screenplays that have been finalists in the Seattle International Film Festival as well as the La Femme International Film Festival.
