The Writing Room Offers Advanced Fiction Workshop

Registration has begun for "Advanced Fiction," an eight-week workshop for adults (18 and over) who have completed a draft of a short story and are ready for the workshop process. This class, which will be held in Greenville, begins Tuesday, March 4.

Advanced Fiction Workshop
with Scott Gould
Workshoppers wanted... This course is for students who have completed a draft of a short story and who are familiar with the workshop process. Students should bring a draft of a story to class and be prepared to discuss the work in detail during the course. The goal? To leave the workshop with plenty of constructive feedback and ample guidance to take the story (no novel excerpts, please) to a final draft. In addition to workshopping, each week we'll discuss a craft issue pertinent to your writing or rewriting process.

Level: Intermediate to advanced
8-week class.
Starts March 4
Tuesdays, 6:30 - 9 p.m.
Location: Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities, downtown Greenville
Fee: $240; $230 Emrys member
