In preparation of the big move to 149 Daniel Morgan, the board met for a tour of The Showroom, offices and apartments, then convened for lunch at Hub City Grille (and yes, they stole our name.) Betsy announced that Kerry was going part-time in preparation for meing a new mother and we would be looking for a full-time Showroom director. |

The board met April 25, 2006, to address a slight delay in moving to the new building, get a report on the 2006 fundraising campaign, and thank Arthur Cleveland for his four-year donation of free office space in the Montgomery Building. Upcoming events included a Dixie Hummingbirds concert at Barnet Park and a reception in honor of our archive donation to USC Upstate. |

The board and staff of the Hub City Writers Project met for an annual retreat and strategy session at the Teter Lane home January 30, 2006. The group began discussion about how to fold the Hub-Bub program into the mission statement, the possibility of a Piedmont Blues concert and term issues. |
