Minutes (6-27-07)

The board of the Hub City Writers Project met June 26, 2007. Joining the staff for the first time was Alix Refshauge, who will be coordinator of the AIR program and development director for Hub-Bub. The board received news about the South Carolina Novel Prize and the upcoming Green Screen film series.

The last meeting before summer had a light agenda, with most things reported as going along smoothly. The board approved a new poetry title for 2008, discussed an upcoming strategic planning session, and dealt with an overdue accounts issue.

Minutes (4-24-07)

The board of the Hub City Writers Project met April 24, 2007 and heard updates on the artists in residence (new and old) and discussed ways that we can raise funds to support the Hub-Bub project. Betsy reported on progress on books in the pipeline, and Stephen introduced the idea of an Art Car.

Minutes (3-27-07)

The board of the Hub City Writers Project met March 27, 2007. They voted to approve another full-time position at Hub-Bub and discussed a future long-range planning session. Applications for two grants were discussed, and approval was given to a Hub-Bub color book that will document in pictures the first year of activities.
