Ashley McWaters’ work has appeared in DIAGRAM, Painted Bride Quarterly, Hunger Mountain, Northwest Review, Spinning Jenny, and Caketrain, among others. Her book of poetry, Whitework, was published in fall 2009 by Fairy Tale Review Press. She teaches at the University of Alabama, where she directs the undergraduate creative writing program.
John Pursley III teaches poetry and contemporary literature at Clemson University. He is the author of If You Have Ghosts, an Editors’ Prize Selection for Zone 3 Press, and four chapbooks, Supposing, for Instance, Here in the Space-Time Continuum (Apprentice House Press 2009), A Conventional Weather (New Michigan Press 2007), When, by the Titanic (Portlandia Press 2006), and A Story without Poverty (Forthcoming from Stepping Stones Press). Recently, he was co-winner of the Sarah Lawrence College Campbell Corner Poetry Prize and winner of both the Fugue Poetry Prize and the Hackney Literary Award in Poetry. His work has appeared in AGNI, Colorado Review, and Poetry.
Abraham Smith hails from Ladysmith, Wisconsin. His poetry collections--Whim Man Mammon (2008) and Hank (forthcoming)--are available from Action Books. He instructs at University of Alabama.
