Jo Ann Mitchell Brasington |
| Jo Ann Mitchell Brasington was born, reared and
currently lives in Woodruff, S.C. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from
Wofford College
and a master's in journalism from the University of South
Carolina. A free-lance writer, graphic designer
and public relations consultant, she was a primary editor and contributor to Hub City's
2005 title, Wofford: Shining with
Untarnished Honor. She also wrote and designed the history of the South Carolina School
for the Deaf and the Blind and contributed to Hub City's
Textile Town book.

Jo Ann is married to Bill Brasington, director
of the Adult Learning
Center in Spartanburg. They have three children - Annie
(14), Abbey (10) and Daniel (4) - all of whom share their mom's love of
reading, writing and art.
